Application Questions for Individual and Small Group Study

- 2 Corinthians 3:16 promises “whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” What steps can we implement to shut out distractions and shift our focus to the Lord? What changes do you think will happen in our lives when the veil that separates us from the Lord is stripped away?

- Acts 1:3 describes the “convincing proofs” that Jesus gave of his resurrection. What aspects of Christ’s ministry after the resurrection are most important and impactful for you? Why is it important for new believers to learn about these proofs and read the four eye-witness accounts of the gospels?

- In this episode, Paul Keith and Michael contrast believers who possess a dynamic spiritual life that leads to greater union with Christ and greater glory -vs- a religious and powerless form of Christianity. What changes can we make in our own lives, our home groups, or our church communities to reject dead religion and embrace a dynamic faith?

- Some theologians have claimed that “the Bible interprets itself” if one draws the proper connections between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Why is this process of cross-referencing especially important to understanding the book of Revelation?
