Application Questions for Individual and Small Group Study

- The show highlights the relationship of Ruth and Boaz as a prophetic type of how drawing closer to the Lord brings us under his spiritual covering. What can you do to draw closer to the Lord this week?

- This week, we learned that God often has specific words and plans for different cities and regions. Ask the Lord what his plans are for your immediate neighborhood, your city, or your region—then write down three or more prayer points you can pray or share with others.

- Why is our internal focus one of the most important factors for maintaining our emotional and mental health in challenging times? What biblical advice would you give someone who currently suffers from worry, anxiety, or fear?

- How are the challenges we face today similar to the challenges faced in the book of Acts? What supernatural events from the book of Acts strike the deepest chord in you? What might this reveal about your own calling, gifting, or prayer burden?

- What does an unhealthy fear of the future reveal about someone’s view of the Lord and His faithfulness? What does an excited anticipation of the future reveal about someone’s view of the Lord? What can you do to create a habit of consistent trust and confidence in the Lord?

- Re-read your answer to question #3 as a word of the Lord for yourself.
